Accused of harassment
A father is accused of throwing his teen-age daughter around their kitchen after she came downstairs in the middle of the night.
Frederick T. Pezzula, 40, of 205 Smith Ave., was released on his own recognizance by City Court Judge Daniel C. Wilson Tuesday on a charge of second-degree harassment. His case was adjourned to Feb. 8.
Police said at 12:42 a.m. Dec. 1, Pezzula grabbed his 18-year-old daughter by the hand and by her hair and threw her around the kitchen of their residence.
The victim told police she went downstairs to make some food and turned on the light in the living room, which is where her father sleeps. She said her father threw a pan at her. Then he grabbed her.
¿ Cheyenne M. Johnson, 18, of 715 W. Court St., was released on her own recognizance on a charge of seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance. Her case was adjourned to Jan. 12.
Deputies said at 1:30 a.m. Dec. 10, Johnson was found with a baggy of 30 Vicodin pills in Rome.
