Center for arts, gallery open house Saturday

HAMILTON — Saturday there will be an Open House at the Hamilton Center for the Arts and Broad Street Gallery, 20 Broad St., including registration for classes at the Art Center

Artist Marc Tucci’s show in the upstairs gallery is titled "Studio Spin" and it is "art for the eyes and ears," center officials said. Downstairs at BSG, there will new work and new artists.

The gallery hours for "Studio Spin" show will be 11 a.m.-8 p.m. This exhibit is an interactive arts experience for all ages. It is a compilation of Marc Tucci’s internationally represented multi-media artist collection.

From 10 a.m.-4 p.m. People will be able to register for upcoming classes, meet instructors, and view some of their demonstrations. Upcoming classes include hip-hop, zumba, yoga, belly dancing, drawing, wellness drumming, creative writing, beaded jewelry, pastel painting, knitting, and piano. Multi-Arts Program classes include theater, creative writing, music, art exploration, painting, Spanish, and yoga dance.

During the day there will be some additional entertainment provided by Kit Pang with a hip-hop performance, and Isadora Herold with a viola performance.

Light refreshments will be served all day and all are welcome.

At 7 p.m., also at the Hamilton Center for the Arts, the Adishakti World Fusion Belly Dance Troupe will put on a performance with a reception to follow.
