Police say cocaine was hidden in crib

ONEIDA — A Madison County woman is accused of hiding cocaine in a baby’s crib, and is facing a felony charge.

Police said Kaila L. Lohr, 23, of 309 N. Lake St., was taken into custody after a search warrant was executed on her apartment at about 6 a.m. today. Police said they found 8.5 grams of cocaine individually packaged and hidden in a container in a child’s crib.

Two children, both under the age of 6, were also in the house, police said.

Lohr is charged with third-degree possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, police stated. She was arraigned and sent to county jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond.

The two children were placed in the care of other family members.
