Lady Black Knights can’t fend off unbeaten Notre Dame

The Rome Free Academy girls basketball have dropped their third game in a row following a 59-42 defeat versus Notre Dame of Utica on Monday night in Rome.

Haley Sehring led the way with 16 points, and Emily Durr collected 13 points as the Lady Jugglers remain undefeated in Tri-Valley League play at 7-0 and 9-1 overall.

Tonya Lombardo fired in three three-point baskets for nine points to lead Rome, while Jamie Marcinkowski collected eight points, and the team’s top-scorer Alana Quance was held to four points.

Krista Anken also had six rebounds, four assists and three steals, Jordan General collected three rebounds for Rome, which fell to 2-6 in the TVL and 5-7 overall.
