Service of Hope, Healing
for bereaved Tuesday
The Rome Clergy Association is offering a Service of Hope and Healing at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Methodist Church, 400 N. George St.
The service will be focused on those in the community who have experienced losses in the past: loss of loved ones, relationships, health, jobs and income. The candle lighting service gives participants an opportunity to give voice to their pain.
The Rev. Sarah Millner, pastor of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, Whitesboro, and the Rev. Inell Claypool will share words of hope and encouragement.
Music will be supplied by John Dorr of the Rome Alliance Church and the Rev. Alan Howe, pastor of First United Methodist Church.
