Three women were hospitalized after their motor vehicle rolled off Fish Hatchery Road Friday night.

Fire officials said the crash occurred just south of the Delta Lake Inn at about 10 p.m. One of the women was able to free herself from the vehicle, the other two had to be extricated by the Rome Fire Department. Authorities said the vehicle had rolled onto its roof. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor, authorities said.

The identities of the women were not available this morning, as the cause of the accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. Officials said all three women were transported to St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica for evaluation. There were no serious injuries.

No tickets have been issues so far, authorities said.
