Todd A. DePasquale

VERNON ­— Todd A. DePasquale, age 48, of Vernon and Rome passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from injuries sustained after the motorcycle he was riding was struck by a deer.

Todd was born on May 27, 1963 in Oneida, New York, a son of Thomas A. and Jeanne (Raymond) DePasquale and was a graduate of V.V.S. Central School.

On August 30, 1986 Todd and Laura Comings were married in Vernon, New York.

Todd had been employed as a correction officer with the Oneida County Sherriff Department.

In his spare time Todd enjoyed deer hunting, golfing, hiking in the Adirondacks, working in the garden, riding motorcycles and listening to Blue Oyster Cult music.

Surviving are his two daughters and one son-in-law, Sarah DePasquale of Verona; Samantha and Michael Voelker of Ft. Bliss, TX; one granddaughter, Madison Fitch; father and step-mother, Thomas and Donna DePasquale of Otter Lake; one brother, Brian DePasquale of Oneida; one sister, Paula Wallis of Nelliston; grandmother, Charlotte Mae Raymond of Oneida; two stepsons Jake and Zack Wheelock; one aunt Beulah "Pete" Maxwell of Vernon; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Todd was predeceased by his mother, Jeanne DePasquale in 2002.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 2:00-5:30 p.m. at the Malecki Funeral Home Inc., 23 Front Street, Vernon. Todd’s funeral service will be held Saturday at 5:30 p.m. immediately following calling hours at the funeral home. Burial will be on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Rt. 5, Vernon.
