The city Recreation Department and Scott Rutledge are inviting people to join a Christmas choir to participate in the annual Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony entertainment to be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, at the intersection of James and Court streets.

There will be a rehearsal from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the St. Joseph’s Church in Lee Center. Singers must pre-register in order to receive the Christmas music packet. Interested singers should contact Rutledge at St. Joseph’s at 336-2661 or the Recreation Department at 339-7654.
