BOONVILLE — High school seniors and college students who are active in the Boonville-Oneida County Fair can apply for one of six $1,000 scholarships. Students must be pursuing a degree in a field related to agriculture, fair management or the outdoor amusement business.

The New York State Association of Agricultural Fairs and the New York State Showpeoples’s Association sponsor the scholarships.

Information is available at the Fair office, through Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County and from high school offices. Applications must be printed and completed from the web at www.nyfairs.org.
