Computer classes, Bigfoot discussion at Dunham Library

WHITESBORO — Dunham Public Library, 76 Main St., offers a number of programs in the coming week.

For adults, scheduled are:

Thursday, 2 p.m. Saving Energy. Ann Cianfrocco, community relations specialist for the New York Power Authority presents energy-saving tips to help reduce heating bills. Program includes informational booklets, compact fluorescent light bulbs, foam insulators and reusable bags. This program is free and open to the public.

Friday, 2 p.m. What Do I Do Next? This class continues the introduction to the personal computer with further mouse practice, getting started with searching and an introduction to web sites with a look at the Mid-York Home Page. Space is limited, so call 736-9734 or stop by the library to register

Saturday, 10:30 a.m. The Friends of Poetry discuss and read poetry.

Monday, 2 p.m. Bigfoot: Denizen of the Forest. The monthly installment of the popular ‘It’s a Mystery’ series will discuss the history of sightings of Bigfoot around the world, including sightings in New York State, some as close as Chittenango.

Thursday, 10:30 a.m.-Rhyme Time for the under 3s and their adults. Call for information.

Monday, 6:30 p.m.-Teddy Bear & Me-for those 2 and up and their adults. This is a drop-in activity.

Tuesday, 10:30 a.m.-Preschool Story Time with stories, activities and crafts for 3-5 year olds.

Wednesday, March 10: 10:30 a.m.-Rhyme Time for the under 3s and their adults.

Wednesday, March 10: 1 p.m. -Preschool Story Time with stories, activities and crafts for 3-5 year olds.
