Oneida County’s three hospitals have lifted restrictions on visitors under 18 years of age, in light of the decline in cases of flu-like illness among area patients including children, County Executive Anthony J. Picente, Jr. said today.
The restrictions had been imposed in October. Rome Memorial Hospital, St. Elizabeth Medical Center, and Faxton-St. Luke’s Hospital decided to suspend the restrictions after discussions with the county Health Department, he said.
