An H1N1/swine flu immunization clinic for children Saturday has been filled to capacity, with no further accommodations beyond those who had called in advance as of late this morning, the county Health Department said.
Additional clinics will be scheduled "in the near future," said department spokesman Ken Fanelli.
For the Saturday clinic at Mohawk Valley Community College, the department had advised people to call in advance to schedule a half-hour time slot and avoid waiting in long lines. Fanelli could not immediately specify the number of appointments made for the clinic, which is from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. It is for children ages six months to 18 years old, especially those at "high risk" with underlying medical conditions.
