VERONA — A 39-year-old man will face drunken driving charges after crashing into a guide-rail on the Thruway early Saturday morning.

State police said Frank Molnar, of 4642 Beaver Meadow Road, Vernon, went off the Thruway and struck the rail at 1:24 a.m. Troopers said he registered a blood alcohol content of 0.10 percent, and he was ticketed for driving while intoxicated and moving from lane unsafely.

He is scheduled to appear in Town Court on Nov. 3.
