NEW HARTFORD — Veterans are invited to a free bus tour of several Mohawk Valley monuments on Monday, Nov. 9. The bus will depart Preswick Glen at 9:15 a.m. and return by 1:30 p.m.

Jim Nolan, Preswick Glen’s senior living specialist, said: "The Mohawk Valley has a very proud place in history for the men and women who have served their country’s call to duty. We have many outstanding monuments. Together, let’s see them and learn more about their history."

The tour includes stops at the New Hartford Veterans Park; The Memorial Parkway; Oneida Square; Clark Mills Post #24 (tank); Griffiss Business and Technology Park (B-52 aircraft); USS Oriskany Museum; and New Hartford Post #1376 (helicopter).

Reservations are encouraged as space is limited. Call 734-9586 by Nov. 5 to reserve your space. Refreshments will be provided.

Preswick Glen is at 55 Preswick Drive, off of Clinton Road (Route 12B).
