New session start the week of Nov. 9 at the Ava Dorfman Senior Center.
Registrations, with payment, are due one week prior to each class start date to allow time for the health screening forms and physician release forms to be completed and returned, which are required for some of our classes.
Scheduled are:
Monday, Nov.9: Body Sculpting, 12 p.m., use of dumbbells, exercise bands, and medicine balls will strengthen and tone your muscles, seven weeks $17.50 with center membership, $8.50 with wellness membership, $27 non-members.
Chair Pilate’s, 3:304:15 p.m. works your abdominals and posture, eight weeks $30 or $20 with center membership
Tuesday, Nov. 10: Beginner Line Dance 1-2 p.m., Have fun while learning new steps, "good exercise for the improving memory," center officials said. seven weeks, $27 or $17.50 with center membership
Wednesday, Nov. 11: Basic Fitness, NEW TIME, 2:45-3:45 p.m., this class will improve your cardiovascular system, includes use of exercise bands weights and stretches, eight weeks, $30 or $20 with center membership
Ongoing classes: Strength and Balance, Wednesday at 8:45 9 :45 am, Growing Strong and Osteoporosis Wednesday at 1 2:30 p.m., Beginner/Intermediate Tai Chi Tues and Thursday at 11 noon.
Wii Sports are offered four afternoons a week; Mondays at 2 p.m., Tuesdays at 2 p.m., Thursdays at 1 p.m., and Fridays at 1 p.m.
