Additional locations and dates have been confirmed on county-run seminars for parents regarding student mass immunizations for the H1N1/swine flu virus.
Among school districts added to the schedule:
• Oriskany, Tuesday, Nov. 10, 7 p.m., high school.
• New Hartford, Tuesday, Nov. 24, 6:30 p.m., high school.
• Utica, Tuesday, Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m., Proctor High School auditorium.
• Whitesboro, Tuesday, Dec. 1, 6:30 p.m., high school auditorium.
• Vernon-Verona-Sherrill, Wednesday, Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m., high school large group instruction room.
• New Hartford, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 6:30 p.m., location to be announced.
• Holy Cross Academy, Oneida Castle, Monday, Dec. 14, 6 p.m.
The seminars, including a previously announced session in the Rome district on Monday, Nov. 30, will include county presentations about H1N1 immunizations and also will address parents’ questions. The county hopes to begin the immunizations in mid-November, pending arrival of sufficient vaccine quantities. Parental consent will be needed for students to take part.
