Jervis offers social media safety class
Jervis Public Library, 613 N. Washington St., will host a social media safety class in the library’s accessible auditorium on Wednesday, June 13, at 2:30 p.m.
Participants will learn what, when, and how to share online, while keeping private information private. This 90-minute class is for adults and teens who already know the basics of their preferred social media platform – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. Attendees must be able to log in to their accounts. All are invited to bring their questions and concerns regarding social media. No registration is required for this free event.
For those who want to create an account or get started on a social media platform, please come to one of Jervis Library’s Drop-in Tech Help sessions, held weekly. The enxt two session are slated for Wednesday, June 20, at 10 a.m. and Thursday, June 28, at 2:30 p.m.
