Children’s menu items, all of which come with fries, include hamburger for $4, cheeseburger for $4.50, or chicken tenders for $4.

Seven other entrée items are offered. A full menu is available online at https://www.facebook.com/RomeELKSLodge96. Take-outs available by calling 315-336-3300. There will be no fish fry served March 16.

Originally built as a private home, the house at 126 W. Liberty St. was rehabilitated in 1926 for use as the Rome Elks Lodge as it’s known today. It was built in asymmetrical, early Italianate style brick in 1848 and was called the Benjamin Leonard House. A sun porch and projecting classical revival style portico were added in 1926. The lodge addition, home to many community events, was added in 1932.
