Tenney should apologize for comment
Last July Congresswoman Claudia Tenney claimed that she was a good choice to be our representative in Congress because her father had been a judge.
Now she claims, on a radio program discussing gun control following the Florida high school attack: “Yeah, well, obviously there is a lot of politics in it, and it’s interesting that so many of these people that commit the mass murders end up being Democrats, but the media doesn’t talk about that either.”
That surely proves to me that in this case the apple did fall far from the tree, and that she is completely unfit to be our congressional representative.
In my mind this is one of he most despicable untruths that anyone, much less the person in Congress who represents me, could make. Ms. Tenney is about the same age as my daughter. I believe that any father would be ashamed if his daughter ever thought such a thing, much less said it in public. I know that I would.
I ask that Ms. Tenney retract the statement and apologize.
