Bova’s opposition to downtown Utica hospital takes courage
It’s about time! I was so excited to see an Assembly candidate finally take a stand on the Utica hospital issue and put the people first. The Downtown Hospital proposal has been flawed from day one and hurts all taxpayers from Rome to Utica.
Dennis Bova is not only a candidate for State Assembly in the 119th District, but he and his wife are longtime healthcare professionals that know the impact this decision will have on our region’s health care. Basically, he is on the front lines of the fight and is taking a stand that truly takes courage.
As he stated, we must build at St. Luke’s or another alternate site. We can’t allow politicians to keep pushing this in downtown Utica simply to fit into their political agenda for another fiasco. Didn’t we learn our lesson from Nano? As Ronald Reagan said, “Government isn’t the solution, it’s the problem.” Let the health care professionals make these decisions and stop bullying them. Bravo to Bova and he has my vote for Assembly.
Please remember to vote for Dennis Bova in the upcoming Thursday, September 13th, Republican Primary.
Dennis is the endorsed Republican, Conservative and Reform Party candidate that will work for all of us in Albany.
