WHITESTOWN — Adults looking for an activity to keep the kids busy on Veterans Day, Nov. 11 may consider the 4-H Handmade Holidays workshop being held at Cornell Cooperative Extension, 121 Second St.

This year’s project is a double sided, 6 foot sign that can be used anytime of the year. One side says “WELCOME” the other “WE BELIEVE.”

Cost for the class is $20 or $15 per 4-H youth. Pre-paid registration required at https://reg.cce.cornell.edu/HMHolidays2016_230

If you can trace and color within the lines you can create a beautiful piece of artwork, organizers said.

While the project is simple it does take some patience so the project is best for those 10 and up.

If youth don’t finish the project in the time allotted they will have the supplies needed to complete the project at home.

4-H is one of the largest youth serving agencies in the nation.
