CLINTON — The Fair Trade Shop at Stone Presbyterian Church, 8 So. Park Row, is offering whitewashed terra cotta stone bread warmers.

“We’re coming into the season when warm, fresh bread will taste great with our fall comfort foods,” shop officials noted. The stone is from Bangladesh and is deeply incised with a nature-inspired design and sits within a handwoven kaisa grass basket with palm wrap and is oven safe.

Handmade items from 38 different countries are available at the Fair Trade Shop. Purchasing fair trade items ensures artisans and small farmers fair wages and healthy working conditions, providing dignity, sustainable development and hope to marginalized people. The entrance to the shop is on Williams Street. Hours are Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and second Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
