Family Fun Night in Westmoreland

WESTMORELAND — A Family Fun Night with food trucks and a free screening of the family movie “Monster Trucks” will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15 at the Westmoreland Town Park, 5045 Stop 7 Road.

Beginning at 5 p.m., Squeezers Lemonade & The Kettle Corn Truck and Mr. Z’s Street Eatz will on site selling freshly made food to attendees. There will be family activities like face painting, raffles and other surprises. Then at dusk there will be a screening of the kid-friendly movie “Monster Trucks,” about a high schooler who finds an escaped monster living in his truck.

It is also an opportunity to meet Ron Klopfanstein, a candidate for Westmoreland Town Council whose campaign focuses on “bringing people together for community events that celebrate and promote life in Westmoreland.”

The “Be More Westmo” Food Trucks & Monster Trucks Family Fun Night is being sponsored by the Westmoreland Summer Activities Association, which is working to save the town pool; the Westmoreland Democratic Committee and the Committee to Elect Ron Klopfanstein to the Westmoreland Town Council.

The Westmoreland Summer Activities Association is a non-profit organization that is working to restore and reopen the Westmoreland’s Anna Newman Kunz Memorial Town Pool. A portion of the proceeds from the food sales will benefit their efforts.
