Barbecue benefits Trail Blazers

SYLVAN BEACH — A chicken barbecue for the Taberg Trail Blazers will be held from noon until gone Saturday, Feb. 18, in the Sunset Grill, 1319 Main St.. It will be eat in or take out.

Prices are $9.50 for dinners (include coleslaw, potatoes, rolls and beans) or $5.50 for just chicken halves. 

The club uses funds for maintaining approximately 45 miles of trails in northern Oneida county. It has about 450 members. See: 

Free bowling for Trenton residents 8-12

TRENTON — The town will sponsor free bowling for children ages 8-12 who are town residents at Adirondack Lanes from 10 a.m. to noon Mondays, Feb. 20, and April 17.

It includes two games of bowling, shoes and a snack after bowling.
