RFA students compete at Morrisville event

Eighteen Future Business Leaders of America students from Rome Free Academy competed in several business-related topics at the FBLA Spring District Meeting at Morrisville College on Jan. 4.

The students are eligible to compete at the state level in April.

All 18 students were medal winners at the Morrisville event, the Rome school district said.

Some of the competitions included Accounting; Public Speaking; Business Calculations; Entrepreneurship; Marketing; Business Law; Impromptu Speaking; Cyber Security; Economics.

The students will be fundraising and seeking sponsors to help offset the costs of the state competition which is in Binghamton, the school district added.
