MVCC to screen animated film ‘Coco’ Saturday

A screening of the film “Coco” will be featured Saturday, Feb. 24 at noon at Mohawk Valley Community College’s Rome campus, in Festine Auditorium, and at MVCC’s Utica campus, in Schafer Theater.

The screening is being featured by the MVCC Cultural Series as part of the Family Fun Series, the college said.

Admission is $5 general, $2 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.

The animated “Coco,” rated PG, tells the story of aspiring musician Miguel who, confronted with his family’s ancestral ban on music, enters the Land of the Dead to work out the mystery, said MVCC. The film will be followed by fun, movie-themed activities for kids, the college added.
