Mohawk Valley Community College’s Advanced Institute for Manufacturing (AIM), a Manufacturing Extension Partnership Center, is sponsoring a free Trade Adjustment Assistance Center (TAAC) Grant workshop for manufacturers from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20, at the thINCubator, 326 Broad St., Utica.

Light refreshments will be available beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Manufacturers that have been affected by foreign competition leading to a decrease in sales and employment levels within the past 36 months will benefit from this workshop, learning how other manufacturers across the state already are benefitting from the program. Local TAAC representative Theresa Stockton also will be on hand to help attendees learn how they can qualify for the additional funding and how to complete the application process. Qualified manufacturers may receive grants up to $75,000.

Space for this event is limited, so pre-registration is required. To pre-register, call Joann Dickson at the AIM office at 315-624-9800 or jdickson@mvcc.edu.
