STEUBEN — The North Steuben Cemetery Association has announced its schedule of summer services at the North Steuben church.

There will be a worship service at 2 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 5) sponsored by the Rev. Robert C. Wollaber with speaker Rev. William A. Mudge, Adirondack District Superintendent of the United Methodist Church.

A second worship service will be held on Sept. 16 sponsored by Rev. Robert C. Wollaber with speaker Carl W. Trainor of Boonville.

Services are held at the North Steuben Church, Buck Hill Road, Steuben, next to the North Steuben Cemetery. Special music and refreshments will be offered.

The North Steuben Cemetery Association was organized on October 24, 1864 at the schoolhouse near the North Steuben M.E. Church.

Cemetery officers and trustees include President Mrs. Edward Warner, Rome; Vice President Fred VanNamee, Holland Patent; Secretary-Treasurer the Rev. Robert Wollaber, Rome; Ms. Laura Rogers, Westernville; Roger Williams; Thendara, Mrs. Elliot Hughes, New Hartford; Carl Trainor, Boonville; John Aiello, Rome, and caretaker John Croniser.
