CAMDEN — Kayla R. Buchholz, 21, passed away July 11, 2012. She was born May 31, 1991, a daughter of Timothy and Theresia Sheffler Buchholz in Abilene, TX. From 1992 to 2002 Kayla and her family lived in Anchorage, Alaska where she enjoyed camping and fishing. The family moved to Charleston, SC in 2002 where Kayla enjoyed going to the beach. After two years in South Carolina the family moved to Camden, NY. Kayla was a 2011 graduate from Camden High School. During her life in Camden she enjoyed four wheeling and hanging out with friends. Kayla loved to cook and always had an interest in culinary arts.
She is survived by her parents, Timothy (USAF Retired) and Theresia Buchholz, Camden, NY; maternal grandparents, Herbert (USAF Retired) and Jackie Sheffler, Sr. Chambersburg, PA; paternal grandparents, LeRoy and Marlene Buchholz, Creighton, NE; two sisters, Katrina Buchholz, Camden, NY, Angie and Christopher Rhodes, Sr. McConnellsburg, PA; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; two nieces, two nephews; and her special cat, Tiger.
Memorial services and a celebration of Life for Kayla will be held Thursday July 19 at 6 p.m. at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. 109 Main Street, Camden, NY., followed by a reception and balloon release at the American Legion- Arthur S. Moran Post #66.
