Free Family Fun Day
in Oneida Saturday

ONEIDA — The Madison County Historical Society, 435 Main St., holds a Family Fun Day on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., rain or shine. The event is free and open to the public.

Families can expect an afternoon of Victorian games and activities hosted by the society and other area organizations.

The historical society will set up four craft workshops where children can take home the crafts they make. 19th century games such as pick-up sticks, Jacob’s ladder, croquet, and Graces will also be available for guests to try.

Dance students from the Bogardus Performing Arts Center of Oneida will perform a dance from the appropriate time period during the afternoon.

Families can get their pictures taken by Mary Jeanne Bialas and Sterling Oddo, who will have their Victorian Whispers Vintage Photo Studio on location.

For more information contact the society at 363-4136, 361-9735, history@mchs1900.org, or www. mchs1900.org.
