Mote-Lints concert Friday
for her second CD release

NEW HARTFORD — Sherry Anne Lints releases her second album, "Keep on Prayin’" in a concert with Gordon Mote Friday in Immanuel Baptist Church, 9501 Weston Road (off Chapman Road near Perrry Junior High School).

Mote, a regular artist on Bill Gaither’s Homecoming Tour, and Lints each performed in Rome’s Capitol Theater in a benefit for the Rescue Mission in 2009, and combined on several numbers.

Friday, Mote "will give you a full concert plus accompany me on songs from my album which he produced," Lints said.

Lints, a doctor of chiropractic, singer, speaker, actress, writer and fitness trainer, was born with a bilateral hearing and speech impairment. She appeared in the films, Clancy and The Perfect Gift and was a guest on 100 Huntley Street, in Ontario, Canada. She is a contributing author in the book, Modern-Day Miracles and released her debut CD, Thank You, in 2008.

She leads worship and drama at her church.

Mote was born blind. He is the recipient of Piano/Keyboard Player of the Year Award by the Academy of Country Music for 2009 and 2011. He has has shared the stage with Martina McBride, Alan Jackson, Rascal Flatts, Josh Turner, Carrie Underwood and famed Grand Ole Opry star, Porter Wagoner among others.

Lints said the songs on the CD are "a tremendous blend of Southern gospel, big ballads, contemporary worship, black gospel and country gospel and one very special, true to life song that I penned myself called "I Only Know to Pray."
