For the second time in four days, the Section III Class D baseball championship game between Oriskany and Brookfield at Alliance Bank Stadium was washed out and postponed on Friday.
The game has been rescheduled for today at 4:30 p.m. at DeLutis Field, Oriskany coach and athletic director Tom Meiss said late this morning,
The sixth-seeded Redskins (16-5) were originally scheduled to face top-seed Brookfield (17-1) on Tuesday but the game was moved back to Friday due to rain.
Section III executive director John Rathbun had said on Friday that the Oriskany-Brookfield game would be made up today at either Alliance Bank Stadium or at DeLutis Field, noting the game would be played in Rome if field conditions are unplayable in Syracuse.
Tickets are $5 at the gate.
