CAMDEN — International Wire Group Vice President of Manufacturing Paul T. Fox has been named a recipient of the Wire and Cable Manufacturers’ Alliance’s 2012 Distinguished Career Award.
This award recognizes wire and cable industry professionals of strong character and credibility who have made significant commercial or technical contributions over a minimum 25-year industry career.
Fox started his career in the wire and cable industry in 1978 at Omega Wire, working in manufacturing and moving into supervision in 1979. In 1981, he moved into the position of human resource manager where he worked for several years. During the 1980s and 1990s, he held management positions within the organization, from production manager to plant manager, in plants owned and operated by Omega Wire, now International Wire Group. Fox served as director of manufacturing for International Wire’s Bare Wire Division facilities from 1996 to 2004. In 2004, he was named vice president of manufacturing for International Wire.
Fox lives in Camden with his wife, Dawn. He is a past board member of the Camden Chamber of Commerce.
