NEW HARTFORD — Girls entering grades 2-12 in the fall are invited to attend Girl Scout camp this summer, and membership is not required.

The three resident camps girls can attend are in Deposit, Auburn and Harrisville. Camp sessions are scheduled from July 8 to Aug. 5. Girls can participate in traditional camp activities along with week-long programs that give girls the opportunity to explore their interests, spend time outdoors and become leaders. There are also three-day, two-night programs that introduce younger girls to resident camp.

Free open houses will be held Saturday 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Yaiewano Program Center; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Amahami Outdoor Center; and Sunday 2-4 p.m. at Camp Trefoil.
