More than $700 in fines and court fees were handed down Monday to a 43-year-old woman who threatened her ex-boyfriend with a knife.
Sheila M. Dole, of 309 N. Levitt St., was ordered by City Court Judge John C. Gannon Monday to pay a $500 fine and $250 in court fees on a charge of second-degree menacing. A charge of second-degree harassment was dismissed.
Police said at 2:30 a.m. March 30, Dole swung a knife at her 41-year-old ex-companion during an argument at their apartment. Police said Dole also struck the man in the side of the head. In a statement to police, the victim said he wanted Dole to move out.

¿ Bail was set at $1,500 cash bail or bond and was not immediately met for Amy Chapple, 30, of 410 W. Embargo St., charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and petty larceny. Her case was adjourned to May 2.
State police said at 10:25 p.m. April 27, Chapple stole her mother’s purse, which contained cash and credit cards. In a statement to police, Chapple admitted to taking the purse to support her drug habit.
¿ John G. Morris II, 24, of 414 W. Bloomfield St., was released on his own recognizance on a charge of fourth-degree mischief. His case was adjourned to May 21. Police said at 11:15 a.m. April 28, Morris broke a wooden shelf during an argument at his residence with his spouse.
¿ The cases of Shamel B. Greene, 29, and Kaia S. Robinson, 30, both of 309 Cottage St., and each charged with two counts of third-degree possession of a controlled substance, were adjourned to the county grand jury.
Police said at 8:36 a.m. April 25, Greene and Robinson were found with 434 glassine envelopes containing heroine during a drug raid at their residence. The pair were also found with a baggy of crack cocaine, authorities stated.
¿ The case of William J. Buss, 37, of 35 Kelly Ave., Verona, charged with first-degree contempt, second-degree harassment and fourth-degree mischief, was adjourned to the county grand jury.
Police said at 5:30 p.m. April 8, Buss was in a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend at her Mill Street home. Police said Buss grabbed the woman’s arm and twisted it behind her back in an effort to get her cell phone, to keep her from calling 9-1-1. Police said Buss had also been court-ordered to stay away from his ex.
