I am a father of three, now young men, whom I love very much. I was a single dad raising these three boys the best I could with what I had.
There were times of stress, times of sorrow, and times of bitterness and anger. But, there were also times of great laughter, times of overflowing joy, and many moments of happiness. They have all grown up to be respectable, reliable, and responsible men. One is a new dad himself with two beautiful children.
I thought to myself, if I loved my sons this much, I can’t wrap my head around how much God loves us. I just shake my head and smile as I gently close my eyes and say a heartfelt "Thank You!" to the creator of love. I may not be here forever to tell my sons that I love them, but at least they will have known that I did, with all of my heart. But, they also know that God, their Heavenly Father loves them even more. They know the supreme sacrifice God made by sending His only begotten son to this earth to live, teach and die for us. (John 3:16) I am often speechless at this sacrifice. That’s how much He loved us.
He is in love with us! He lavishes His love on us! He is Daddy and we are called His children, that is who we really are! There are some who do not know this because they do not know HIM. And that is why we have to tell this world about God our Daddy, for He wants them to be His too! God is not a Dad that hurts or causes pain, NO! He says I lavish (to produce in abundance) My Love on My children! LOVE Himself (God is Love) wants to LOVE on us! Let Him! Just let your Daddy LOVE you! The following are some scriptures that describe how our Daddy, God Almighty sees, feels, and loves us.
In James 1:17 He tells us that every good gift comes from Him. In Matthew 6:31-33 He says I am your Provider and I will meet all your needs. In Zephaniah 3:17 He takes great delight in you and rejoices over us with singing. In Exodus 19:5 we are His treasured possession. In Deuteronomy 4:29 He says if we seek Him with all our hearts, we will find Him. In Psalm 37:4 He tells us to delight in Him and He will give us the desires of our hearts. In 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 He says I am your greatest Encourager. In Psalm 34:18 He lets us know that when we are broken hearted, He is close to us.
In Isaiah 40:11 as a Shepherd carries a lamb, He carries us in His heart. In Revelation 21:3-4 one day He will wipe every tear from our eyes and take away the pain we have suffered. In Jeremiah 31:3 He tells us that He loves us with an everlasting love. In Jeremiah 32:40 Our Father says that He will never stop doing good to us. In Jeremiah 29:11 He lets us know that His plan for our future is always filled with hope.
In Ephesians 3:20 He says that He can do more for us than we could possibly imagine! In John 17:23 HE SAYS I AM FATHER AND I LOVE YOU EVEN AS I DO JESUS! (You can shout right there! He loves us as He loves Jesus! Thank you Daddy!) In John 17:25-26 In Jesus, My love for you is revealed. In Romans 8:31 Jesus came to demonstrate that I am FOR you not against you. In Hebrews 1:3 Jesus is the exact representation of My Being. In 1 John 4:10 HE TELLS US THAT THE DEATH OF JESUS IS THE ULTIMATE EXPRESSION OF HIS LOVE FOR US. In Romans 8:32 HE GAVE EVERYTHING HE LOVED TO GAIN OUR LOVE. In 1 John 2:23 He tells us IF YOU WILL RECEIVE THE GIFT OF JESUS I GAVE, YOU THEN RECEIVE ME!
If you have walked away from Father God or you have never given Him your life, your Daddy wants you to know today that He is not mad at you. He wants you and loves you with all of His Heart! Give Him your life right now. Confess Him to be The Lord of your Life and live for Him with all the passion that is inside of you! Those promises in His Word show us how much He loves us! LOVE, Himself is IN LOVE with you! He is always thinking of you. He rejoices, sings and dances over you! He is waiting on you and longing to be a part of your life and to help you in EVERY AREA! Accept The Love of Father God in your life and in your every day! Yes, YOU HAVE A DADDY AND HE LOVES YOU!
