Hall named first head coach of Utica City FC
UTICA — The Utica City FC has named Ryan Hall as the team’s first head coach for their inaugural season on July 24.
Hall played Division I soccer at Syracuse University and played professionally with the Syracuse Salty Dogs and the Rochester Rhinos.
Growing up in northern Virginia, Hall also has spent time playing the indoor soccer game. He’s played for the Cleveland Force, Chicago Storm, California Cougars and the New Jersey Ironmen. He was most recently the head coach of the Syracuse Silver Knights, leading the team to their best record in team history during the 2017-18 Major Arena Soccer League season in his first year of being a head coach professionally.
“We feel that Ryan Hall’s vision and past success aligns with our goals of creating a championship team right out of the gate,” Utica City FC president Robert Esche said.
Utica’s MASL season begins in December with the schedule to be released later this summer.
