Church to hold service on Veterans Day

CLINTON — The Stone Presbyterian Church in Clinton will hold services at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 11, the anniversary of the end of World War I and what became Veterans Day as a result.

Choir practice is open for all at 9 a.m. The church will celebrate one of two sacraments. Storyteller Donna Goodfriend will tell an excerpt of the story of Ruth and Boaz. The church will hear how Christ has appeared once for all from Hebrews 9:24-28. Storyteller Anne Dunn will tell from Mark 12:38-44 of the poor widow who donated all. Pastor Scott Leonard will preach on “At the 11th Hour.”
