Anthony Brindisi, Democratic candidate for Congress in New York’s 22nd district, will hold three more town hall meetings, part of his pledge to hold a town hall in all eight counties of the district.

After holding town halls in Cortland, Madison, Herkimer, Broome, and Chenango counties, Brindisi has scheduled three more for July. Every town hall will be free and open to the public.

July 17, at 6 p.m. in Tioga County at Tioga Opportunities Countryside Community Center in Owego.

July 24, at 6 p.m. in Oneida County at the Utica Thincubator.

July 29, at noon in Oswego County at the American Legion in Central Square.

“Representatives in Congress work for the people,” said
Brindisi.

“So they should be expected to listen to all of their constituents and hear their concerns. These are free and open town halls. No RSVP lists, no staff screening questions, and no gimmicks. A Representative’s number one job is to listen to the people. I made a pledge to hold a town hall in every county in the district, and I’m excited to listen to constituents’ concerns and answer their questions at these next three events,” he added.

Brindisi is challenging incumbent Republican Claudia Tenney for the seat.
