CLARK MILLS — Lewiston Properties has officially opened its newly completed luxury community, Lewiston at Pheasant Run.

The complex offers modern one-story garden style and two-story town home style rental units, featuring state Energy Star Certified homes.

An official ribbon cutting ceremony was held with members of the Lewis family and the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 4.

“Pheasant Run combines country charm and urban convenience in the beautiful and historic Clinton,” said Lewiston Properties Spokeswoman Daniee Weaver. “These homes have been built to higher energy standards than any other complex in the Mohawk Valley thus far.”

Each rental unit is private, which Weaver said provides a “sense of living that is similar to a traditional home setting.” One major amenity that Pheasant Run also offers is its managed high-speed Wi-Fi. The managed Wi-Fi is the first of its kind in any apartment complex in the region, Weaver said.

“We are very proud of our properties, and we’re really excited about Pheasant Run,” Lewis Custom Homes, Inc. Owner Luke Lewis said. “We’re a local, family business and we serve the area offering one of the best constructed communities around. We pride ourselves with providing the best 24/7 emergency and maintenance service for our residents.”

Since 1961, the Lewis family has built quality, custom-built homes and apartments. Amenities at Pheasants Run include oversized attached garages, stainless-steel appliances and high-quality modern flooring. There is also a laundry room with full-size washer and dryer in every unit. Hidden gems include Pheasant Run’s private nature trails where residents can enjoy fully groomed paths that span more than a mile in length.

Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meghan Fraser-McGrogan complimented the new complex’s “natural environment” just before the official ribbon cutting.

“This is a beautiful natural background and definitely looks like a nice place to live,” she said.

Before the final countdown to the red ribbon cut, Lewis thanked his family, as well as the community for its continued support. He said the first residents moved into Pheasants Run in 2006, and construction was put on hold due to some local water issues. But once those problems were resolved, the Lewis family was able to “get going again.”

“I’m proud of the brothers I work with and the family that raised me,” Lewis said. “This is important for us, and we thank the community, our vendors and everyone who has given support to us.”

The units at Pheasant Run feature:

• New York State Energy Star Certified homes.

• High efficiency heating and cooling.

• Modern kitchens with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances.

• Oversized, attached garages with remote opener.

• Spacious laundry room with full-size washer and dryer.

• Cable and managed Wi-Fi with Hi Speed internet.

• Full-time, on-site property management.

• Maintenance-free living.

• Services including lawns, snow care, maintenance and garbage.

• One mile of nature walking trails.

Besides Pheasant Run, Lewiston Properties also consists of Lewiston at Meadow Lane, Lewiston at White Street, Lewiston Townhomes in New Hartford and Lewiston at Sohn-Alloway in Lyons. Lewis said plans for an additional development in Marcy are also underway.
