Outcast Theater will present “GOD” by Woody Allen at 8 p.m. April 12, 13 and 14, and at 3 p.m. April 15 at The Other Side, 2011 Genesee St., Utica.

The mad play within a play switches back and forth between ancient Greece and modern day Utica. Plagued by philosophical conundrums, an out-of-work actor and sex-starved author search for an ending for a play that has no beginning.  As they discover that they are merely actors in another play, they jump back and forth between ancient Greece and modern-day Utica to solve the metaphysical dilemma... is there a God?

Ben Hirshfield as Diabetes and Rick Signorelli as Hepatitis, the actor and author, respectively, will lead this cast which includes Thom Capozzella as Trichinosis, Todd Allen as Bursitis, and Catherine Gudaitis as a philosophy student from Stittville. Ann Carey, Leslie Reilly, Randy Leers and Dan Burgess round out the cast. The production is directed by Eileen Tiller-Clanton.
