A corn maze and haunted trails for adults and children are the focus of the second year of Fright Night at the Farm at Skeeterboro Farms on Route 233 in the city’s outer district this October.

Luke Mazur, owner and operator of the farm, said he keeps adding new activities each year to make Fright Night more fun.

“We’ve been slowly getting it bigger and bigger,” Mazur said. “It’s just something we’ve always enjoyed. We’ve got tons of
decorations.”

Skeeterboro Farms is located at 6799 Rome-Westmoreland Road, near the Hamlet of Stanwix. The farm features a 7-acre corn maze, the haunted Trailer of Terror walk for adults, a less-frightening walking trail for children, a hay ride, a petty zoo and pumpkins for sale, Mazur said.

The activities are open every weekend in October and have been dubbed “Fight Night at the Farm”, he stated. They are open from 10 a.m. to dark, with the adult activities open until 10 p.m. The petting zoo and children’s walking trail are open during the week.

Tickets for the activities are $7 per person or $25 for a family of five, Mazur said.

This is the second year for the corn maze and the Trail of Terror, and the third year for the hay ride.

Mazur said he hopes to add more activities each year, and next year he plans to use GPS and drone technology to carve the corn maze into an actual shape instead of just a regular maze.
