Library looking for bra and swimsuit donations
CLINTON — Kirkland Town Library, 55 1/2 College St., is asking patrons’ help in collecting bras for breast cancer and mastectomy patients during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October.
Throughout October, the library is collecting gently used bras, lingerie, swimsuits and breast cancer survivor items, such as prosthetic inserts, mastectomy bras, etc. The library will then send them to Donate Your Bra, a non-profit that supports breast cancer survivors.
