To stand up for one’s convictions—that’s what makes a true hero. And though this tale of Thomas More took place centuries ago, his epic struggle with his conscience and his king is all too contemporary in this moving portrayal of what it’s like to be trapped in circumstances that can’t be sidestepped.
Directed by James Gifford, the cast includes The Common Man: Richard Signorelli, Sir Thomas More: Chuck Teska, Master Richard Rich: Steven Handzel, The Duke of Norfolk: John Murphy, Lady Alice More: Marilee Ensign, Lady Margaret More: Hana Meyers, Cardinal Wolsey: Robert Christman, Thomas Cromwell: Thom Capozzella, Signor Chapuys: Bill Moore, Chapuys’ Attendant: Paul Stern, William Roper: Michael O’Brian, King Henry the Eighth: Nick Abounader, and A Woman: Shelby Deere
