MARCY — An SBDC Day to celebrate the impact of the country's Small Business Development Centers will be observed Wednesday, said the Mohawk Valley SBDC, whose offices are at SUNY Polytechnic Institute's Kunsela Hall.

The community is invited to stop in on Wednesday, or any day, to meet the business advisors and learn about the center's no-fee advertisement services, the Mohawk Valley SBDC noted.

With nearly 1,000 locations nationwide, SBDCs help support local businesses and entrepreneurs, according to the announcement. In 2016, the country's SBDCs provided 1.24 million hours of consulting to 188,602 client businesses. SBDC clients nationwide experience four times greater annual sales growth than the national average, the announcement said.
