The Utica Zoo and Nomad Cinema, a local traveling outdoor movie theatre, will host a screening of the animated movie, “Ferdinand,” at 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20.

Admission to the movie will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets for the movie are listed at $5 for general admission, and $3 for Utica Zoo members. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets. Mangia Macrina Wood Fired Pizza Truck will be available for guests until 9 p.m., and Utica Zoo Docents will sell popcorn and other refreshments.

“The Utica Zoo is happy to add another option for the community to enjoy the summer months,” said Mark Simon, marketing coordinator for the Utica Zoo. “Nomad Cinema offers a great service that allows families to come together in the open air and create unique experiences together, which is right on par with our mission at the zoo.”
