OLD FORGE — The Old Forge Library will host Linda Weal and Thera Levi for an erasure poetry workshop on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 6 p.m. Admission is free and participants should be aged 12 or older. Pre-registration is recommended.

Erasure poetry (or “blackout” poetry) is a form of found poetry created by taking an existing text and erasing many of the words to create new meaning. Participants will be presented with examples of erasure poetry before creating their own.
