MWPAI Arts Festival June 26-July 1

UTICA — The 2018 MWPAI Arts Festival is six day colorful extravaganza of live music, sidewalk art, mural painting, antique autos and more at the Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute, 310 Genesee St.

The festival is free and runs Tuesday, June 26 through Sunday, July 1, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Festival’s highlight attraction, the Sidewalk Art Show, returns with 250 works in a colorful array of media. local musical talent takes the stage throughout the day. Children can enjoy fun-filled activities including exhibition-inspired crafts.

The Invitational Craft Show returns Saturday and Sunday, and some of the “finest vehicles ever made” will be displayed Sunday in the Antique and Classic Car Show.

In association with the exhibition, “Kimono! The Art of Itchiku Kubota,” there will be several Japanese-related demonstrations and activities.
