Kallet Civic Center to host photo exhibit in Oneida

ONEIDA — The Kallet Civic Center, 159 Main St., Oneida, is hosting a photography exhibit by Howard Astrachan beginning Tuesday, Jan. 10, the center has announced.

The free exhibit will be held in the Griffing Gallery and is open for viewing by the public from
10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, the Kallet announcement added.

Astrachan recently retired from his job as math teacher at Canastota High School and has devoted his time to pursuing photography.

His subjects include water in motion, landscapes, wildlife and flowers.

The display includes images from Alaska, Maine, Oregon, Florida and the Oneida area, the Kallet added.
