Colgate recognizes area scholars

HAMILTON — Local students were named to the fall 2017 semester dean’s list with distinction at Colgate University.

They are:

• Carina Haden, of Whitesboro, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2021, is a graduate of Whitesboro High School.  Haden’s major is English.

Jack Lin, of New York Mills, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2018, is a graduate of New York Mills Junior-Senior High School.  Lin’s major is computer science.

Benjamin Phelps, of New Hartford, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2018, is a graduate of New Hartford Senior High School.  Phelps’s major is psychology.

Makenna Bridge, of Madison, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2020, is a graduate of Madison Central School.  Bridge’s major is environmental geology.

Haley Allen, of Clinton, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2018, is a graduate of Clinton High School.  Allen’s major is Africana & Latin American studies.

Luc Herbowy, of New Hartford, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2018, is a graduate of New Hartford Senior High School.  Herbowy’s major is history.

Jacob Scott, of Whitesboro, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2020, is a graduate of Whitesboro High School.  Scott’s major is economics.

Samuel Stuttard, of Oriskany Falls, a member of the Colgate University Class of 2020, is a graduate of Waterville High School.  Stuttard’s major is art and art history.
